Dance has been my passion even before I understood it. It came just as naturally to me just like cascading waterfalls. The moment I realized that this is what drives me, I decided to go full throttle. Thus was born Maathangi.
With Maathangi I intend to contribute to the world of dance and my gurus in whatever little way I can.

Maathangi dance school will be that channel and platform that will help dance enthusiasts to kindle, rekindle, and explore their untapped passion to dance. You will not just learn dance and some moves here, you will imbibe the culture of dance- one that includes learning language, discipline, respect and sacrifice.

I wish to give each student in my school the opportunity to explore Bharathanatyam to its core and study it the way it should be, in all its glory and with all its peripherals attached.

With Maathangi, I am invoking the blessings of the goddess so that I can continue my journey in dance and help churn out more ambassadors of dance who will spread the art form to different parts of the world.
